The only con of this, for me, is the size. I love how compact it is and it's cute to look at, good quality. But I drink a lot of water, so, I have to fill this up 5 times a day, at the least. That counts drinking water and filling my teapot for tea and water in my smoothies, etc. I fill up a gallon jug and place it next to the pitcher, so, it's easier on me. But we all know the size of it when we buy it. The filter works great. At first, the water was tasting strange and I thought I might have to return the pitcher, but after filling it a few times, it tastes clear and like the reverse osmosis water that I'm used to drinking. I like it. And I'm a very picky consumer! It's a quality pitcher, even better if what you're looking for is a space saving pitcher. More affordable than Brita, better quality too, in my opinion! Plus, you get 3 filters. You can't go wrong. If you drink a lot of water though, you might have to think about what will work for you, but like I said, filling a gallon jug of tap water and keeping it by the pitcher for refills isn't so bad. I definitely recommend this water filter pitcher it is extremely easy to use and an extremely reasonable price. At the time that I purchased it I was lucky enough to get 3 filters with it that will last me 6 months. I live in a camper and I have to fill my water tanks using a garden hose. So you get the taste of water hose which can be quite unpleasant but after I got this and started using it I am so thankful I did. My water no longer tastes like a garden hose and it is more reminiscent of the bottles of water that I buy from the store. I am so thankful that I bought it and I highly recommend buying it if you are looking for something like this for your home. Read more
I already have a a full size 10 cup Brita pitcher that we keep in the fridge and use for cold water refills, I got this to keep out of the fridge and use for cooking and coffee machine refills. I found it because I like the Sapphire filters because they are the only ones that come with the little round rubber gasket that keep the filter firmly in place in the pitcher and don't let unfiltered water slip through. The 6 cup size is small but doesn't take much room. I use it every day for cooking water and to refill the coffee maker, it always used to bug me to waste cold water on those things. I have complaints with this pitcher though. One s that there is a small gap between the part that holds the unfiltered water away from the filtered water so that if you are pouring water and there is any unfiltered water in the top the unfiltered water can leak into the filtered water and taint all your water, Also, the lid flips shut sometimes while refilling it, making me spill water all over the place. Other than that it's a great little pitcher and has really helped conserve the cold water pitcher for drinking use. Read more
It might be small but it works great! Filters are long lasting and filter quickly, no weird taste. Easy to clean, no weird parts or angles. I also love that i can see into the filtering chamber. Read more
After using a Brita pitcher for about 5 years, pieces started cracking off here and there so I was looking for a different pitcher brand that still fits Brita filters and this was the perfect one. I like this Sapphire design MUCH better because the Brita pitcher had too many UNNECESSARY crevices in the design that made it prone to growing mold and difficult to clean. This Sapphire pitcher doesn't have all those pointless crevices and I haven't seen any of the problems I had with the Brita pitcher. Plus it's cheaper AND it comes with 3 filters, so basically you're paying for the 3 filters and almost getting a free pitcher with it. The filters were great also. I would buy these filters instead of Brita if they sold them separately, but I haven't found them yet. Read more
Best feature is not having to buy expensive filters every few months. Having 3 filters included is a big plus. This one of those “invisible” things you just hope are working unless you are go get your water tested before and after it runs through the filter. My well water is mainly just hard water but like to have it filtered for grandkids to drink to hopefully be a little safer. Read more
This version of a Brita filter is amazing!!! My water tastes so good so easy to use greatly price comes with extra filters pretty color and packaged well! I highly recommend it fills my hydroflask then I refill it we save so much more money now instead of buying cases upon cases of water. Read more
