Love these lights for both my work benches and also for the desk I made for my room for and extra area for working on light projects. Mounts are super easy and as they can be located along the length, no measuring is required. Great design. They lumination is perfect without being too bright or so dim as to not be useful. I purchased this Sararoom 2ft LED Light Fixture to replace a 2ft fluorescent one in a walk-in closet. Replacing the existing light fixture took about 30 minutes in total, including taking down the old light, measuring and marking the ceiling and mounting and testing the new light. The light is installed with two small metal brackets that you screw the the ceiling and the then the light fixture snaps to them. The light is very light (not heavy) which makes it easy to install. The light fixture only has a Live wire and a Neutral wire to connect - there is no ground wire, and note that screws to mount the brackets are not included. Installation is very easy. The 20W equivalent LED light is more than bright enough for a closet but probably won't be sufficient for areas much larger than about 6 feet by 12 feet but, provided you bear that in mind, I have no doubt you'll be pleased with this light. This product is excellent. Very bright and met our requirements 100% up until I realized there were wireless options available. In order to make this light work to our requirements, I would have had to run electrical service to a different part of the closet (moderately difficult) and added a indoor motion detector. I returned it in favor for a wireless solution. The wireless solution is not nearly as bright, but far easier to install. I wrote this review to inform you of the reasons we did not use it, but it was the better solution. Read more
Not good. First, very poor mounting clamps don't really hold. Had to work out an alternative method of attaching to ceiling. Then, after one week of use the unit turns on only sporadically. I usually have to switch the light on and off several times to get it on. Sometimes it won't light at all. Sometimes it flickers on and off. Very disappointed at the brightness. Mounted just four feet directly above my work bench it barely provides adequate light for safely working with tools. A 60 watt regular incandescent bulb or similar lumen LED bulb puts out about twice the light of this device. The unit was inexpensive but it is useless. Would not recommend to anyone. Read more

Simple installation to replace a similar brightness flourescent tube fixture in my bathroom. (Two F30T12 bulbs at 30W each). Surprised how much light comes out of this. No issues so far after 2 months. Read more
Just got done installing this in the ceiling of my pantry, replacing a fluorescent light fixture that was not working. This unit is light weight, and the brightness is perfect for the pantry. Took me a lot longer to install than expected, though. Seems like it should be simple enough -- mount the clips to the ceiling and hook up a couple of wires. Unfortunately, it proved to be very frustrating. Usually there is some space at the top of the lamp to accommodate the wiring. This has no space, and the lamp's wires are very short and flimsy, so your options wind up limited. The mounting clips are also flimsy, and come with simple plastic anchors that aren't really useful for ceiling installations. The edges of the clips are sharp, so I wound up cutting my finger on one. Getting the lamp to clip in correctly was also a bit of a challenge. After a couple of hours of frustration, I have it mounted, although one of the clips bent a bit so it's not completely flush against the ceiling, but fortunately it's not noticeable. This light would be perfect if they put more consideration into how it might be mounted in a closet ceiling. Read more
