I first purchased this bulb in 2018 for a small accent lamp to brighten a dark corner. Perfect amount of light to see my way in the middle of the night or on dark mornings. It's has been on 24-7 for over 6 years now and just started to get a bit dim so I've purchased another to have at the ready for the next 6 years. I was very pleased that the price was comparable to my first purchase. Read more

Perfect little bulb for a small lamp that I keep on all night. I bought this to illuminate a dark entryway, mainly to avoid stepping on my black cat who blends in perfectly with the dark tile floor. I wanted something with low wattage, but bright enough to light an area about 6 feet out from the lamp table. The base of the bulb fits a standard lamp. It is equivalent to a 7-watt bulb; it uses 1.2 watts. Color temp = 2700 Kelvin, which is warm white. Keep in mind that the base fits a standard size lamp, not a traditional size small night light. This gives off a VERY low light, which works well in a dark room. Read more

I bought this bulb to replace a standard bulb in a desk lamp. The old bulb would get really hot and couldn't be used for any length of time. I was excited to get this bulb as a replacement but was very disappointed when it was dimmer than the original. It is pretty much useless and I will be returning it. Read more

Bought these bulbs for my mom praying table and it still going strong after a few years. Quality and brightness are decent and can’t go wrong with the price. Highly recommended!! Read more

Probably 70% of the light is directed upward, not outward, so it may be better suited for open lamps. I got it for a small enclosed stained glass lamp and now there's a big obvious bright spot on the shade where most of the light is directed. The light itself is a nice soft white. Seems like a nice bulb, just perhaps not the best choice for the lamp I needed it for. Read more

We have two of these Satco s9160 solid state led bulbs (1.2 watt) in the fridge. They are not super bright like the higher energy consuming bulbs but they also aren't too dim either. 32 lumens and only uses 1.2 watts. They are plenty bright and efficient. They have flickered once or twice for about a half a second in all the time we've had them but I believe that was due to the actual power grid. They're still running fine right now as we speak. The specs suggest that this bulb is a straight up replacement for a 4 watt incandescent (2700K color temperature, 14 lumens). THE GOOD: the form factor of this bulb is spot on - it replicates that of any standard C7 bulb (typically used in night lights). The light output pattern is uniform, replicating that of a standard C7 incandescent bulb. HOWEVER: the color spectrum is both whiter (my guess is 3000-3500K) and brighter (the luminosity output of a 7-10 watt bulb) than an incandescent 4 watt C7 bulb (2700K, ~15 lumens). BOTTOM LINE: A great replacement for a 7 watt C7 bulb, if you are OK with "whiter" light. But if you want a bulb that replicates the light output of a "regular" 4 watt night light bulb, you'll need to keep looking. The differences were annoying enough to my wife that we've gone back to standard 4 watt incandescent bulbs in our night lights. Read more
