Satin Bonnet for Sleeping Night Cap Satin Lined Silk Bonnet Large Sleep Cap for Curly Braids Hair Beanie

I have purchased about six or seven different hair bonnets for sleep, and this one is the winner for me. My hair is 2b, gray, and waist-length, but it has been breaking off at the lower lengths. Every cap I try has presented with some problem. Too shallow. Too tight. Elastic digss into my skin. Falls off. Seams cut into my ears or forehead. This cap has none of those issues. The band is huge, soft, and thin. During sleep, if anything, if falls lower onto my forehead. No seams. No squeezing. And it keeps the cap on! I wake up with no pain, and the cap is still on. The texture inside is very smooth and soft, and there is enough room for all my hair. It doesn't make my head hot. I have a really sensitive scalp, and finally, a cap with no large sewn seems or irritating features. I bought two. Maybe I will buy another. UPDATE: A month later, and something has occurred with my two caps that has become an unexpected blessing. While I sleep, the band tends to come down on my forehead. Lately, I have realized I can lean in to this, and there you go -- accidental sleep mask. Now when I sleep, I just pull the cap over my eyes, and lights out. Surely I look ridiculous, but this is the most comfortable setup for sleep that I have ever had. There are no bands or extra layers of things, just one super-comfy cap that covers my eyes, keeps my hair soft, and best of all, passes the princess pea pod test. (And yes, I bought another. I tend to stay away from bonnets/sleep caps because they either fall of your head whilst sleeping, or have the elastic band dig into your skin, leaving you with terrible marks, a headache and alopecia. This bonnet/sleep cap, whilst it is not actually satin lined - I think it is polyester, is SO COMFORTABLE! My hair is thick and long and I have tried it with my hair cornrowed and with it in twists. With my hair cornrowed, it is quite big and tends to fall off at night. But with my hair in twists, it fits on and leaves ZERO indentations on my skin. The material is stretchy and should accommodate most heads. The style is okay to run errands if nicely adjusted. I also think this is great value for money. The only reason I took a star off is because this is not satin. I really love this and will see how this washes before I get more. Read more

These are okay as my backups, they get very loose and don't stay on well. The lining is good and does keep my hair soft, but you cannot adjust the fit. The style is economical and fine, and they don't weigh my head down or make me feel too hot. Read more
