My son needed a toga for homecoming week and since he's likely only going to wear it once, I wasn't keen on spending a lot. I found this one and read some reviews and ordered a size up. Here were some problems: 1- it was huge. My son is 6', 300lbs. I ordered a 3X and it almost hit the floor, but the worst part was the neckline. It was so big that my son was able to model it as a double off-the-shoulder gown, and then when I laughingly told him to take it off so I could send it back, he was able to slip it down and off with ease. 2 - the gold accent fabric on the left arm is barely what I would consider fabric. It is akin to thin gold plastic and very loudly crinkles with every movement. I read in the reviews that the seller had fixed the fabric problem, so thought I had gotten an old costume. I decided to order a size smaller and try again. It came today. While the neckline is a little smaller, the toga can now be worn as only a single off-the-shoulder gown, and that is while the neckline is resting on the opposite shoulder; so still wildly too big. This costume also still had the ridiculously cheap gold plastic attachment on the left sleeve. Long story short; do not buy this. There are other togas listed for a few dollars more (I purchased one at the same time I ordered the smaller size of this one. I was running out of time to find one and that's what free returns are for.) that are of better quality and offer a better fit. Spend the few dollars more and save yourself the hassle. Read more

This worked great for our party - hubby even found his twin! It runs large but a safety pin in the back to draw the shoulders together worked fine - he also wore tan shorts underneath as it is a bit sheer. Read more
