These are my go-to dress casual pants, which I wear 90% of the time at work (office job, biz casual). I am a "husky" person who has to work to keep my wasteline in check. The stretchable waist is great for when I am less than successful! I like that these are washable and a bit finer thread count /shinier fabric than other Chino's and the crease maintains itself reasonably well, though I do run a steam iron over them quickly to reset the crease and take a few minor wrinkles out. I know that pleats are out, but with my leg/butt shape they are just the right amount of roominess without being over-pleated. Savane have also not given in to the lower waist hip-hugger style so sit nicely on top of your butt, not pulling down your butt when you bend over. I do also have the same pants in dress pant material (still washable) THey are also nice, and the thinner material is good in summer and matches a sport jacket better, but I like the comfort and look of these chinos the most. When my husband opened this he yelled( not really) at me and said “. What the heck did you spend on this?” It is such a thick beautiful leather, incredibly well made including the buckle. You can wear it with jeans of dress pants. My husband is a 38” waist and the 40-42 fits perfectly. It also comes in a beautiful box and is inside a fabric bag. VERY CLASSSY gift.
