These cat eye gel magnetic polishes are so beautiful! The formula is very nice and easy to work with as far as magnetic nail polish that isnt gel. 1st, please understand that my nail skills are on par with a child. My hands are unsteady & I'm not entirely sure how to properly prep, paint, & maintain nails outside of the very basic clip & file. I absolutely cannot sit still or keep my nails from coming into contact with things for the lengthy time it seems to take ANY nails polish to dry to a point that they aren't scuffed or dented. S.H. Insta-Dri brand is absolute garbage for my level of ability. Its supposed to also dry super fast but anything after the 1st coat seems to end up too thick to ever dry to a hard finish. Hours later, when I think its surely been long enough for even a regular polish to dry thoroughly, the SH brand still feels gummy & easily dented. Idk what I'm doing wrong.. Tho truly discouraged I decided to try this brand. Colors are a little different in person than how they looked on my phone. I did a quick wash of my hands but didnt clean under my nails so it would be easier to see how sheer the polish is. I painted each nail a different color (2 colors on my thumb) without a base coat. 1st coat was very sheer & dried within about a minute, but I waited a couple minutes before doing a 2nd coat. The 2nd coat was still sheer enough to see the remnants of potting soil under my nails. I didnt dare bump my nails at all for about 10 minutes, then I very carefully started testing touchability. Surprisingly they didnt feel gummy at all like the Insta-dri brand would. I think i can work with these. This is only my initial observations. I'll come back & update this review if I find that the polish chips or peels easy. So far the only negatives are the colors being a little off & more blue than I wanted (very likely due to color variations on my phone) & the color is just a little more sheer than I expected. It will probably take at least 3 coats or a white base coat to get the solid color shown in the company pics. The pics I took were done in natural, late afternoon, mostly cloudy daylight. Read more
