This is a great tool for a no-mess application instead of the dropper included with most minoxidil solutions. It is a fairly large applicator - 3 ml capacity, larger than the recommended minoxidil dose. The plus side is that it has more applicator tips to efficiently spread the solution around. My process: 1) Flip the plastic handle part and rest it on the counter. 2) Dispense the minoxidil into the handle, which has handy measurement lines. 3) Screw on the metal applicator. 4) I let the solution flow to the tips by resting the assembled applicator on the included stand. 5) Apply the solution to the scalp. 6) As the solution runs low, I give the handle a slight squeeze to help dispense he rest of the solution. The threads on the applicator can sometimes be hard to screw on and off. Not sure if it was bc I accidentally rinsed the plastic part with warm/hot water that could’ve warped it? Read more

I wanted an easier way to apply minoxidil to my scalp than the dropper it usually comes with. This product actually works pretty well for this purpose. I like how it has measurements and you can squeeze it to make more come out. I like the suction cup and the holder thing. It is pretty good quality. The rollers work well and are cool to the touch which is a nice little bonus. I feel like it helps me save product and apply it more evenly. With a dropper I was using too much or mostly getting it in my hair instead of on my scalp. I tried this with rosemary oil just to test it out and I will say it does not work as well since the oil is thicker. It still comes out but barely. Also, it was hard to clean out. I really wanted to like this, but it just doesn’t work well. It’s super hard to get the oil out! You have to go in circles for what feels like forever just to get a little bit on your scalp. I thought the metal roller balls would help the oil sink in better, but honestly it didn’t make any difference from just using my hands. Size: It’s really small and fits right in the palm of my hand, which is nice. Easy to hold and store, so no complaints there. Quality: The plastic feels okay, not super cheap but definitely not high quality either. The roller balls make it look kinda nice, but they actually make it harder to get any oil out, which is frustrating. Durability: it’s made of a hard plastic that is still squeezable so it’s pretty strong. Value for Money: For the price, I wouldn’t say it’s worth it. I didn’t really see any results, and after all that rolling my scalp just hurt a little. You’re better off using your hand honestly.. same outcome, less effort. Read more
