I've always struggled with finding razors that can maneuver around my knobby knees without cutting myself. Luckily, I don't have to shave my legs often, but I don't think I've ever shaved my legs without getting at least one knick or cut in 20 years. Under no circumstance will I use a disposable razor with a single or double blade. In my teens, I started using men's razors with 3 or 4 blades, since they're supposed to be designed to glide over jawlines without knicking all over the place. Even with shaving cream, I'd end up with a mess and razor burn. I've also tried the razor that supposedly doesn't require shaving cream because it has a giant block of soap-like stuff around the blades, but I wasn't a fan. For a while, I was trying out different razors that claimed to be made for sensitive skin, with special "soothing" or "moisturizing" strips next to the blades, but when these strips get wet, they turn sticky and slimy, and will congeal on whatever you rest your razor on. If you're lucky, you might find one of these types that have a hole to hang the razor so it doesn't touch anything, otherwise, the life of these razors is short and messy. This particular version of Schick Intuation razors aren't available in every store, but now that I've found them on Amazon, I've been stocking up. Not only do these ACTUALLY work without shaving cream or soap (just splash some water on your skin first), the strip doesn't irritate sensitive skin. Because the blades are surrounded with the solid shaving-cream alternative, the surface area of the razor's head is too big to knick my knobby knees! There is a hole in the handle that's big enough for it to be hung when not in use, and the life of the razor is much longer than any others that I've used. These are also great for your bikini area, especially if you prefer a full brazillian. At the moment, I'm preferring this razor to waxing, which I never thought possible! I love the intuition razor for the lather all in one. But the regular handle is sometimes cumbersome and the refill part can hold water so I feel like it’s not totally sanitary. Love this new version . I hate the thicker soap block one the soap would run out quickly blades get clogged so bad it wont rinse out the thicker one is only good if your trying to cover a big area but you dont have alot of hair because once the razor gets clogged or the soap runs out its useless . Anyways although this new design is thinner with less soap it lathers great and doesn't dissolve as fast as the thicker block one and you can shave your privates better and tight creases and your face better . the bigger block you couldnt do that easy . Hair does get stuck to the soap ring on this new version . But the blades rinse out so much better . And even though these are disposable depending on how much hair i have to shave i can use these 2 or 3 times before having to toss . I was using bic solei which has the 2 pink soap bars i love those their cheaper but sometimes the soap ring would fall off . Best razors EVER!!! Especially for bikini area!!!! I have super sensitive skin and have always dealt with razor burn. I tried everything to combat the itchy red bumps and came to the conclusion that was the price to pay for a hair free bikini zone. Until I randomly stumbled upon these beauties! I am able to be hair and razor burn free! No ingrown hairs! No itchiness! I do shave everyday out of habit and I use these only for my under arms and bikini area. Each one lasts between 7-10 days. I’ve been using these for years since they first came out, after switching from the bigger Schick Intuition shaver that was more cumbersome and didn’t give as close a shave as these do. These make the chore of shaving sooooo much quicker and easier! If you keep it out of water when not using, one will easily last a couple weeks if not longer, so they’re a great buy.
