We have an old Schumacher battery charger at work. I have never owned one so when I needed one, I looked at Schumacher as the company makes quality products that hold up for longer periods of time than many pieces of equipment that I have purchased. Enough power to start a 7.3l v10 from bone dead

I bought this because I've wanted one for a while, but our Ford F250 (Big Bessie) with a 7.3l V10 had a bone dead battery, and I was sure it wouldn't be able to turn over that beast of a motor. It did turn it over and it started after just a couple cranks. I was very impressed. When I disconnected it the motor almost stalled, because the alternator hadn't had time to get even a little charge on the battery yet. Would recommend leaving it connected for a minute before disconnecting. It still showed at 75% capacity after the start and charged to 100% in about an hour. I'm a big fan of Schumacher and the quality here did not disappoint. Very happy with the quality, works as described. Read more
