I wish I would have bought these long ago. Whenever I use my vegetable peeler, or do small chopping, I always cut my fingers. I used these on peeling potatoes with my vegetable peeler, and they worked better than expected. No cuts for me, and they helped me grip the potato without it slipping around. Im so happy! When I was done. I kept them on, and washed my hands to clean them, let them air dry, and now ready for the next time I do knife work. This particular set does come in pairs as described. I normally wear a medium was concerned about the size comments. the size measurements stated did not match up with my hand measurement so I took the chance on the medium. it is a fit though a little tight a large would have been too big. Going to wash the pair and attempt to stretch just a slight little bit. otherwise though I have not used them yet I feel by looking and feeling that they are well made and will work fine for grating vegetable. Just returned from the ER after receiving 10 stitches running a chainsaw with NO gloves. (My fault.) These are NOT claiming to be chainsaw gloves but the cut resistant ratings on these are close to or better than gloves that are. I will be wearing this pair inside of other heavier gloves for better protection. The media could not be loaded. Tested with a new Spyderco S35VN knife. Seems to be working. Didn't want to put TOO much pressure on the blade for fear of cutting myself. I ordered XL, fits well with some extra bit of finger room. I usually wear large gloves snuggly. Read more

Great gloves for cutting food. Veggies and meat. Just make sure the food is dry or excess water is removed. They take some getting use too, but worth the investment when you don't want cut fingers. I use mine all the time no matter how minimal my cutting time will be. Better safe than sorry. You wear eyes and ear protion in the shop. Gloves for the kitchen are tip top.
