I am a special education preschool teacher. Lamination is honestly my LIFE! Since u work with littles who also have additional needs, the call for laminating my lessons and activities is crucial! I purchased a used Scotch personal laminator a few years ago. I’ve used both the 3 mil and the 5 mil sheets. And now I’m here to give you some advice! Pros: -Purchasing the Scotch name brand sheets may be pricier, however I have noticed that hold up better! I have little to no air pockets or wrinkling. It usually happens with the 5 mil. -These sheets do not cause any smell or heating issue with my laminator. That being said, make sure to have it on the right heat setting! -The quality has been fabulous so far! They have remained smooth and have lasted against the little fingers that use them. -You are definitely getting the c value you are paying for! Cons: -They are on the more expensive side. You just have to decide what type of quality you’re willing to pay for. -Some of the sheets did have air bubbles and required me to put them through the laminator again.
