I don't think these are the greatest lighters ever made, but they are decent. I'm giving 5 stars because of the price. It's way cheaper to buy this set than to buy them individually ime. One thing I learned though, is I don't like them all equally. Here's my take on these 4 different lighters. I ordered them from my least favorite to my favorite. 1. The one that folds in half - I don't really get it tbh. I guess you could put it in your pocket if needed, but... seems like the one that will break the easiest and I don't really get any value out of folding it. 2. The normal long lighter - These are good, just a normal long lighter. Great for starting campfires, cooking fires, etc. 3. The flexible one - This one is awesome because you can make a little "U" shape at the end and point the flame up without contorting your hand. I like this one for poking up under my little charcoal chimney when I'm lighting charcoal for the grill. Super easy. 4. The torch one - It's a cheap, reliable, wind-proof torch. I find a lot of value in that. It burns through the fuel pretty quickly so I try to hold back and only use it when I really need a torch (wind etc). Again, I don't think these are the nicest lighters on the planet. They'd be much cooler if I could refill them, and I've had one break on me (it was kinda my fault, but also revealed to me that they're pretty cheaply made) so durability doesn't seem to be a strong suit. But, they're cheap and they work well for what they are. I always keep one near my grill and one in the camp bag. And being cheap, if I lose/break one I'm not too upset about it. And finally, in the future when I need an object like these, I think I will look for just the flexible one and the torch one. They are both dope. Read more
My husband and I ordered these because we were down to only one lighter in the house which was a real pain! We have candles on just about every level and multiple rooms, so now after ordering this lighter pack we have a lighter everywhere. The main reasons I ordered this product were: 1. Good price 2. A lighter that can get down into those tall candles!! I was so tired of either throwing out tall candles before they were done or burning myself trying to light them. I am SO pleased with the pink one in this pack so I don't have to worry about that anymore! After receiving the lighters I'm really glad I went with this pack--I was really only focused on the two things mentioned above, but I am very pleased with the quality of the lighters (one click and you have fire!) and also the additional features in the three other lighters in the pack. I haven't tested them out specifically for the feature listed (i.e. taking it out in the wind)--but it's really nice to know we have a lighter for that purpose. Read more
These lighters are bigger than I expected! Maybe this is the normal size, but I was surprised. I wear a men's size 15 shoe and the pics don't lie. They also light quickly! Within the 1st or 2nd squeeze after sliding the on switch, a good flame comes out. The first one I opened was the flexible aim and flame and it works well. The flexible wand is very easy to move but not flimsy. Not cheaply made like something you would pick up at a discount store. You've made a good purchase if you buy these! No need to hesitate! The igniter broke on my grill, it's only 16 years old, so i forgave it. I started lighting then dropping matches near the burners to light the grill. Then the dark clouds parted and the sun came out a shone a great beam on Amazon and led me to these lighters. The flex neck is perfect for lighting the grill, and when there is slight breeze i use the wind proof one. The foldable i leave in the house, you know, just in case. and the regular one is handy to melt the end of a rope. I wish i had bought these six months ago. Read more
I purchased these because in the past they worked well for me. The one that I most wanted to use, the flexible, bendable one that fits well inside of candle jars etc., is defective, it will not work. I am using the Regular flamed one but, have not tried the other two yet, I should before I need them to avoid further disappointment. These items are useful but tricky to handle and use. To work them best, you need two hands and you are sometimes holding something in one hand. Read more
The foldable one is handy. The reach is great, but other than a kitchen, you don't often have drawers that long. Read more
