This product does not offer any type of “erasing “ quality as the big name brand. The sponge is very ridged and odd. It did not clean my very basic fiberglass tub in any way. There is no cleaning product within the sponge. The colored beads inside did nothing. No smell, no foam, no cleaning action in the tub. I added additional cleaning product to the sponge but it was so stiff and really provided no real value. I have other basic store brand sponges that work twice as hard without the high price and less effort. I would not recommend it at all. Read more

However, if you have a tough cleaning job that normal elbow grease won't tackle, the extra cost is worth it. I recently had the chance to try out the Scrub Daddy Eraser Sponge when I received a small sample with my first order from their website. I used it to clean my stovetop, which was pretty dirty from the previous tenants. Normal sponges and elbow grease just weren't cutting it, but this Scrub Daddy sponge managed to get the job done effectively with just that one small sample. I can only imagine the bulk, versions of similar sponge wouldn't have been as up to the task as the Scrub Daddy brand. For those really tough cleaning challenges, the Scrub Daddy Eraser Sponge is worth the slightly higher price tag.
