I found this scrubber easy to put together and even easier to charge and use. I purchased another product for cleaning purposes when the brushes didn't work well. They are a bit too soft for heavy scrubbing but will work well for normal dirt and maintenance cleaning. The scrubber is also a bit heavy. I found it light enough for myself but someone looking for an alternative to hand scrubbing, and is having mobility issues, might be trading one problem for another. Ive seen mentions made about this scrubber not allowing much pressure to be put on the head while working. I found no such issue. If the motor bogs down too much you know that's what you've got. If that's not enough for your dirt try sandpaper. Lol. This piece of equipment saved me a ton of work on my bathroom and I'm thankful I found it. Reminder for any who read this far: ibdid need to buy an adapter and pads fir deeper cleaning because the brushes are too weak for deary deposits. I hope this helps someone out. Happy shopping. Waiting a long time to write this review. It worked nice for the first couple of uses I just had to keep recharging it. It got to the point where I couldn't scrub for more than 2 minutes no matter how long it was on the charger. Now it doesnt work at all and wont turn on. I've just been using it as a normal scrubber it's just way to bulky to continue doing so. Just going to go back to a normal scrubber. Read more

This thing is amazing Lol if you’re reading other reviews don’t let them discourage you. It’s been almost a year and I haven’t had many issues. It’s really handy if you’re lazy like me and don’t wanna bust a sweat just to scrub a tub. Or if you have back issues or are disabled. I ended up recommending this to my grandma as she can’t bend as well as before. She loves it too. Here are some tips to make sure it functions well: DONT PRESS HARD. It’s an automated scrubbing tool. Simply hover it over the area you need some extra elbow grease for. If you press too hard it will stop moving. Use common sense here, just use a good cleaning product in addition to this. If you can’t scrub everyday, your tub will get greasy and nasty. You will need more than just Method shower cleaner for that!!! Be so serious. Use good products and clean as often as possible. Lastly, DO NOT SUBMERGE THIS IN WATER. Just because it’s a shower cleaner doesn’t mean you let the thing soak. Once you’re done cleaning, DISCONNECT ALL THE PARTS AND SET IT TO DRY! Enjoy. Read more

Works well enough for my purposes. I'm currently using this for a long-overdue deep scrub of my white ceramic tile shower, which has developed rust stains over the years from my nasty well water. Observations: ~ This will NOT magically remove years of neglect. It'll take several deep cleanings to get everything off of the tile, but this is working a lot better than I had expected. ~ For heavily stained areas, clean only a small amount at a time - say a 1 square foot area. This enables your cleaner to stay wet and effective. ~ Work slowly and patiently. Just running the scrubber quickly over the surface isn't going to cut it. ~ For stained grout, I found that the flat brush worked better than the pointed brush - it's a little stiffer. I turned the scrubber at an angle and used the brush edge on the grout, with much more satisfying results. ~ A little light pressure on the brush speeds up the cleaning process, but don't lean very hard on it at all, or it'll bog down. This tool is a bit heavier than expected, but still manageable for a very small person like me. It's a little awkward on the lower-level surfaces because the head does not adjust or swivel, but once you get the hang of handling it, you can work around it. Brushes are adequate for the job. Clorox could stand to offer a wider selection of brushes, though - larger diameter, etc. This would make the tool even more versatile. And as I mentioned before, a flexible/swivel head would also help a lot. And... the scrubber arrived partially charged, but I plugged it in immediately after I received it, and it registered a full charge in about 90 minutes. I used it today for an hour before it started to slow down. All in all, not a bad scrubber for a little old lady who hates to clean. Read more

Have purchased this product twice and each time the unit has died and will not charge. Mechanically it worked well and was robust. It just did not function due to no ability to charge. I cannot recommend it but have made a claim to the seller and will report back after I receive their customer service. Update Customer service was very prompt in responding and are sending me a replacement unit so 5 star to that! Read more

So I looked at youtube reviews... read all of the Amazon reviews here BEFORE I took the plunge to get this... basically, it was a good purchase. Lots of the reviews here said that the battery doesn't last long enough to do anything so I decided to test it as soon as I got it. I plugged it in, let it charge for the 4+ hours & turned it on, resting it on a box so that the motor would have a little resistance. Almost an hour later it was still going strong. If you can't clean what you need to clean with this thing in an hour, you need a maid, not the Scrubtastic. Also, I've determined what the certain brush heads are good for & by far the best one for tile is the flat head one. The conical shaped one is best for sink faucets & hard to reach places & the big one... maybe toilets..? Not sure. Putting it on drastically reduces the RPM *because of the diameter* so the scrubbing power goes down a bit & it's just awkward... too big. Last thing, make sure that whatever cleaning agent you're using is up to par. I can't recommend CLR or Simple Green more. It makes a HUGE difference. All in all, this thing isn't really a time saver but it does save your back & arms from pain of cleaning shower tiles & whatnot. Worth the 40 bucks. Read more
