Got 2 wears

So, I liked the fabric and the large chords which is hard to find. However, these were ridiculously too long. Although I am short and pants are often long on me, it's not like this. Holding them, I had the waistband to my neck in order for the bottom to be just at the floor. Putting them on, I pulled them all the way up to my bra band and they were still 6-8+ inches off the bottom of my feet and now super uncomfortably fitted as they're pulled up so high! I missed my return window because the fall was super warm here so I was stuck with them. I figured I'd get them hemmed. I wore them one full day and one afternoon when I was freezing and had to bring my kids to activities. I took them out today and realized there is a 3 inch hole in the seem of the crotch. It's a clean hole, not torn at all. So they literally lasted 2 wears and I need to have them repaired. At this point, we'll just donate to textile recycling because with the cost of reparing the hole on top of the cost of hemming them shorter, it's the same price as a new pair of pants. So, to sum up, if you don't know how to sew...repair ripped seems or hem (and maybe take in the leg width which was huge) these are a waste of money....well...if you're 5'10 or taller, maybe you can skip the hem but still - shoddy seems! Was skeptical about these because I didn’t see anyone with my body type but I went for them anyway and they worked out! Just as described, soft corduroy, good quality. Has an elastic waist band with enough stretch so easy to pull on. I have a belly pouch and these pants didn’t highlight it or suck it in but was able to sort of camouflage when standing. I’m 5’6”, 195lbs and these were a great length for me. They also have decent pockets which we know is a plus for us girlies. I do recommend. Read more
