This game is excellent as a strategy game, with complex system that make you think to win. The main map is not as good looking as in Fire emblem games, but the animations of the attacks of the units are above anything else. If you grow up watching tv shows about tobots or mecca, you will feel like a 10 year old dreaming of being the pilot and pull off incredible moves. The Gundam lore is there, and is confusing if this is your first time with the material, but nothing that a quick check in Wikipedia can't resolve to catch up. Also the missions are base in the history of the different shows, so you will get the main conflict quick. Now we need a strategy game based on Mechwarrior lore and we can die happy. ;-) Read more

Love playing this game and was lucky to find it on the nintendo switch. Has Mobile Suits both known and unknown from the One Year War Gundam series with a few special ones like the one from Iron blooded orphans series or the mobile suit type from the Blue Destiny series. Just wanted to point out that this gundam game is for the Nintendo Switch and not for the Playstation 5 like the typo above, it runs great, has english subtitles, has over 500 playable units, music from many non-universal century gundam series and took me 80+ hours to beat every stage while playing on the lowest difficulty setting and ignoring secret stage conditions, will likely take longer otherwise. Yeah not much to say in depth strategy gundam game. Lots of numbers and stats to pour over so nerd like us like that plenty of gundams and I've got 40+ hours on it still got many lvls to play and gundams to unlock. A must have for gundam fans and good change of pace from other fantasy strategy rpgs. Read more

Covers key points from various series with missions. Several mechs from the gundam shows to unlock and develop for use. Its a tactical strategy RPG with pretty well animated 3d CG cutscenes for the attacks. Game is japanese dubbed with english text (if you set the language option to english. If you choose another language option obviously it will be in that language of choice.) Some mechanics and things about the game are poorly explained in the basic tutorial it gives you but its not really a hinderance- especially since there are many online with plenty of experience in the game that can answer the questions about the game you have. Great game,lots of mobile suits,mobile armors,planes tanks,battleships from all the various Gundam franchises!! The learning curve is a little steep,bit once you play for a while you get the hang of it,the game comes with all previously released dlc on the cartridge!,so no need to create an asian account! This game will keep you busy for hours. There is plenty of content and it also have one of my favorite time-line which is the A.D. 00 gundam time-line. If you like games like Fire Emblem with mechs, you should give this game a shot. Read more
