Super light; Great for backpacking and travel
I love how light this is and that it’s not too large. The hanging hook is good. I add a loop of ribbon to allow it to hang on more things, like over a shower rod or door knob. Read more

This bag is amazing. I know backpackers talk about how light it is because every ounce counts. Have you ever paid the airline for luggage overage? EVERY OUNCE COUNTS THERE TOO!!! This bag has traveled over 20,000 miles with me (miles according to Skymiles program). I travel more than I am home so I keep this bag packed all the time. Sometimes I even use it when I am home because everything I need is RIGHT THERE! I have had a few spills and I just left the bag open and it dried out fairly quickly. Part of me wished it had a weep hole to help drying but if it did then it would have leaked out in the suitcase. This bag has held up to my abuse and shoving it in my bag and trying to squish it to get it to fit in spaces too small. I keep a combination of GoToobs and full sized containers in this bag. As far as people complaining about the material being flimsy and contents falling out - there is a weird ribbon/clip on the inside that keeps the front of the bag from spilling contents out. The fabric is very light but a lot stronger than it feels/looks. I do wish the hanging loop was a little larger. It doesn't hang very securely (if at all) on most towel rods. This is a great bag and holds a lot more than you think. Well worth the money and I would buy it again. Read more
small but well organized. very light. You do have to be careful about sharp objects, I did cut mine accidentally but it was easy to repair.. Have used for travel for years very happily Read more
Looking to replace my old Eagle Creek hanging toiletry bag, which I love, this was the best I could find. The design is not as good as the old one (which they no longer make, sadly) - it takes up as much space but is more difficult to use for larger items like hairbrushes. It also hangs longer, and because of the two flap sections, is more cumbersome to use without hanging. But, I was able to get everything into it, and I do like the very lightweight ripstop nylon fabric, which doesn't add weight or bulk. There is a small built-in hook tucked into the top flap, for hanging. I brought a separate suction cup so I could hang it from a mirror or glass shower door, which gave me much more flexibility when there isn't an ideal towel rack or other fixture to hang from. I’ve had the L bag in black for a little over 10 years and would give this a 3.5 if possible but don’t feel that it quite earns a 4 despite the decade of service it gave me. I’m leaving a review mostly because long-term reviews of anything are uncommon, and in the case of this bag, the only thing that has changed with the ones currently available are the color options. Pros: -As light as a toiletry bag can get, especially if you toss the largely useless mirror. -Deceptively large; its flimsy design lets you fit some full-size toiletries sideways, which comes in handy for checked luggage and road trips. The dimensions of the bag change depending on how you pack it. -Hanging hook lets you not waste counter space; I wouldn’t get a toiletry bag I couldn’t hang, and if you don’t need it, there’s a small pocket to slide it out of the way and you’d never notice it. Cons: -Very flimsy. When open and hanging, items would regularly either fall sideways if in the main deep pocket, or if trying to use the open mesh pocket, they would lean forward and fall out. -Lack of organization. The main compartment could really use some dividers to try to keep things somewhat tidy. As it is, anything in the main compartment is basically a mess since some things stay vertical, some go horizontal, and some slide behind the other toiletries. -The hook is too small; it doesn’t work for towel hooks nor door knobs and sometimes that’s all you have as an option. If you can’t find a place to hang this bag, it sucks to use on a counter because it takes up a ton of space when open so you end up having to constantly flip it open and closed since it doesn’t have enough structure to stand open vertically. -Lifetime warranty isn’t really worth anything since it “excludes normal wear and tear and the breakdown of materials due to age, use, or environmental conditions” despite an earlier sentence that says their Sea to Summit guarantee covers “defects in materials or workmanship for the lifetime of the product”. I retired my bag because the mesh on the inside pockets was developing holes and the exterior started to crack and split. I reached out to Sea to Summit and they offered me 50% off a replacement bag, but after shipping costs it was cheaper to buy a replacement here. I opted not to do that and instead ordered a B&R hanging toiletry kit, which is 2-3x more expensive and 4x the weight but also has an actual lifetime warranty and addresses all of the cons I had with this bag. I would still recommend the Sea to Summit bag since it lasted a decade but I personally wouldn’t buy another one. Read more
I love this toiletry bag so far. I share the Large version with my fiancee when we travel together. If you're a light packer it's probably too big for one person's needs. However, the nature of the fabric makes it squish down a lot when it isn't filled up, so it doesn't take up significantly more space than a smaller bag. If you haven't felt this type of fabric before, the best way I can describe it is a balloon made out of super-thin rain jacket material. It's stretchy, durable, flexible, feather-light, and wipes clean easily. The mesh inside means it dries quickly and is easy to clean if something spills. A couple things people might not like: -It isn't as easy to organize as other bags because the lightweight fabric doesn't hold its shape well and there aren't a ton of straps and pocket dividers. Travel-sized bottles fall over in the big pockets so you might have to root around for things a little bit (but keeping track of stuff is probably easier when you aren't sharing it with someone else) -The hook is kind of small but you can use a little loop of string to wrap around any thick bars or door handles and hang the bag from the string -The mirror can get scratched up but it still works Read more
