I have no issues with this drive. My system recognized it, reported the correct size and mounted it. It's been up and running without an issues. I moved the drive to another system without an issue. Again, install went off without any problems. I really like this drive and will order more as needed. Read more

Replaced Internal Xbox One X corrupted HD. I went from a 1TB to this 2TB, the hard drive came well packaged and was well worth the delivery wait. I’ve ran all my games and it’s running great, I don’t suspect any issues at all. The Xbox read the 2TB right away. Read more

This is now the third Seagate 2 TB SATA hard drive I've purchased. The price has simply gotten better and better and its performance has been spectacular. In this most recent instance, I purchased the unit to serve as a second hard drive in a NUC style computer to store files, while allowing the primary SSD to run the operating system and serve the applications. In previous instances I've used the SATA drives as either an upgrade, going from 1 TB to 2 TB or as a replacement for a failed drive. While I do have a Western Digital external back up drive, after now also running both 6 TB and 8 TB Seagate external backup drives, I don't see much reason to consider any other brand. Read more

For 75 bucks, this is almost a steal, okay it IS a steal! The ease/difficulty of the install is much more relevant to the PC than the hard drive, but for its part of the process - it was cake. 2TB is already on the verge of being a teeny-tiny SSD, but it is all this unit will run, or so the specs say. Seagate has always been a good product for me so far, this is the third one of their units I've bought. Now, for the horn tooting! I bought this used Lenovo Thinkcentre Tiny for a song, $30.00 - it was 4GB ram 500GB memory, much too small and slow for today's use and functions. The cord cost me $15, 16GB RAM was 35 bucks, the grand total of $178; it is now fully maxed out with 16GB RAM and 2TB memory, fully up-to-speed and also running Windows 11 - price even a used comparable unit on Lenovo's website and it is about $500-700. Designing and engineering for upgrade potential is the first factor empowering this affordable transformation; tech components becoming more affordable as the capacity increases is another important variable. For all intents and purposes, this is a brand-new computer. Taking the time to seek out the tech that can be upgraded and updated is as important as the tech companies producing it. Read more
