I used this today in Santa Cruz. I was out in 60°, marine layer, cloudy skies for about 5 hours. I applied this twice. I sprayed it on and patted it in, since it has a white cast. I have olive skin and it takes a lot for me to burn. When I got home, I realized my entire face was burned. I’m guessing the coconut oil in it is the cause. We've always stuck to lotion-style sunscreen and steered clear of sprays based on EWG suggestions. However, my husband has been asking to try a spray version for a while, so when I saw this one without benzene, I decided to give it a try, and I must say, I'm very pleased with the results. Firstly, I checked all the ingredients on EWG. Most of the ingredients have safe ratings, except for a couple with scores ranging from 2 to 4, which are still considered safe. Secondly, the nozzle rotates smoothly to lock and unlock, and the spray works effectively. Thirdly, it applies as well as claimed: It sprays on white but blends in clear. It has a thin consistency and feels incredibly lightweight on the skin, with no sticky, tacky, or oily feeling at all, and no white residue. My skin feels breathable and comfortable, and the finish is very natural, with no issues with makeup either. There is also a subtle pleasant scent, which I enjoy and reminds me of the Thinkbaby sunscreen we typically use. We'll definitely repurchase this later, and I highly recommend it! Read more

I’ve been trying many different mineral sunscreens as they are really the best. But they are expensive and the problem for me is that they take some effort to get them to absorb once applied. I look like a white clown if I don’t find a mirror and get it all worked in. So this one is a spray which I like. Less messy. And it absorbed pretty easily in my opinion. The price for two is reasonable and this will last me more the one summer. I’m headed to Thailand this fall and my aging skin is spotted enough, so I’m happy to have found a mineral sunscreen that I like. I love Seaweed Bath Co products! I live by them and they keep my skin clear!!!! So when I saw the sunscreen I had to get it. My only wish is that it was OVER 30 SPF due to my skin situation, but its broad spectrum and clean ingredients otherwise so I am thankful for that! I love that it is a spray and 2 bottles on top of that! #win It goes on white and rubs in nicely. I let it soak in before proceeding or doing anything further knowing that it was covering my skin appropriately. I didn't smell anything from it which is preferred. So I will say, this sunscreen actually works pretty well. I am very fair skinned with freckles and tend to burn easily, even with sunscreen. Most spray sunscreen just doesn't cut it for me. That being said... this is almost like a lotion sunscreen just in a can. It's not like typical spray sunscreen. It is incredibly messy and leaves SO MUCH WHITE CAST. I had to read the can again and was superior it says "clear" in the name at all, bc this is definitely not what it is. You have to rub it in a LOT and even then there's still a bit of a cast. While I was pleased with the overall performance, I likely would not purchase again, bc the price is much more expensive than other rub-on sunscreen I have used.
