I bought this scale because I take fluid pills and must watch my weight carefully. It was easy to assemble although the manual did not go into enough detail. The only complaint is minor in that you have to stand very still to get an accurate reading - but that's not a real problem. I'm glad I made this purchase and would recommend this medical-quality scale. Read more

#1 The box is stapled with industrial staples - you need a good screwdriver and pliers and lots of muscle to open the box. #2 The box is heavy and difficult to handle. #3 No instructions on how to put the scale together. #4 No instructions on how to convert inches to centimeters. #5 No instructions on how to use the BMI device. #6 No light on the scale - you must be in a lit room to read the dial. #7 No information in any of the three manuals that is of any use to the user. #8 A product designed specifically for the German market. #9 It's too heavy to send back - I wish I could. #10 The worst purchase I ever made from Amazon in my many years of happy shopping. #11 The worst of the worst - the batteries are located on the bottom of the scale so you have to turn the scale upside down when you change batteries [6 AA]. Switching modes is challenging at best. When you try to HOLD the reading you get thrown in the TORRE mode. Very frustrating and dissapointing especially given the price. Read more

this works great and suits its purpose, but I will tell you....the platform is very small, so larger people have trouble getting on it and staying on it. Rethink this product if your seeing large numbers of obese patients like I do. Read more
