I really need a fan and with the set up I have this pole mounted fan seemed perfect. However after a few weeks, not months of operation I started hearing noises, the fan was off balance. In just a few more weeks I notices the fan blade was telescoping moving forward and hitting the protective casing. Eventually the fan stopped running al together, but the motor still tried to run. This was a waist of money, a fire hazard, and I still need to have this replaced. The price makes it a really bad rip off please if you get this save the receipt and test. It does not deserve the 1 star this system seems to start with. I got ripped of a year ago and came back to see this thing is still here and I am still pissed! Read more

This concept is definately what I need. Problem is they are poorly made. In 3 months I have had to buy 4 as after a month or two they tend to die, make a click noise and fail to oscillate, or just plan spark when it us turned on and off. Not the price is like to pay but have to comment for others looking - this model has no issues other than a small grinding? Noise that went away in a few days. Really good airflow and hanging setup to mount on pole. A solid tent fan I can recommend for others after using it for last three plus months before leaving this feedback. Buy it - it's what you need for great airflow. I use more than one fan and recommend this to make sure you have good ventilation and air movement. Read more

I bought two of these - and both broke. One broke in 48 hours, and the other broke in less than 12 hours. The design of this fan does not work in tents. Yes, it attaches to the pole, but it does not extend far enough off the pole. So, when you close your tent properly and the tent bows in (as it is SUPPOSED TO), it cuts the fan from oscillating. IN both cases (within hours), the oscillator mechanism breaks. I threw out BOTH my boxes so I can't return it - so I am stuff with two expensive fans that work, but no longer oscillate. The way the fan is designed is that it attaches to the pole, but NOT far enough off the pole so when you close your tent, it stops it from oscillating and you will hear CLICK CLICK. You'll fix it, but when you come back to your tent a few hours later, all you will hear is a loud CLICK CLICK CLICK and your new fan is broken. Happened to TWO fans - trust me - don't buy this fan. Good idea, horrible implementation because the rotate gears that turn it are simple plastic and will break very easily. Read more

Shipped stupid fast. Nice and sturdy, runs whisper quiet and oscillates super smooth. The 20W doesn't move a TON of air, but does a great job of keeping the heat off your plants and gives just enough airflow to make them "shimmer" in a 4X4 tent. I'll be buying a few more if it holds up through the next few months. Yes, it's expensive, but it is a unique mounting system that you won't find anywhere else, and the quality of construction shows. Edit: Oscillating feature stopped working after three days and now just makes loud clicks, as another reviewer mentioned. GrowStore offered a return or refund, but no details on how to return it. After several failed attempts to contact them, I was forced to file a claim with Amazon. Hopefully Amazon removes them from selling on here, their customer service is terrible!
