Great tool for your arsenal! This is so handy. You just pop the battery on and get right to work! The kit comes with everything you need. You'll need to put the chain on, but that's pretty easy to figure out and they give you the tools. It also comes with the battery and carrying case. It's lightweight and easy to use one handed. I like it for cutting back bushes and tree branches. The battery lasts pretty long and will get most jobs done with no problems. So much easier than using hand clippers or a big chainsaw! Worth it! This worked better than I had expected. Great little tool! It cut through limbs that were 6" in diameter with no trouble. I cut up a lot of small and medium size branches and the battery never ran out. My wife used it as well and had no trouble using it. Read more

I don't normally write reviews, but here I am. I little history first, since my Mom has always said that I'm never short for words.... :) Our house is a recent build on a large plot surrounded by woods. Needless to say, we have a lot of wood that needs or will need to get cut, no shortage of that around here! And when the wind blows strong, chances are pretty good that big or small, a piece of something is going fall somewhere in a place that is not so convenient. I do have a 40v chainsaw that's not too bad for little old me to swing around, but it's a bit overkill for the small stuff here and there that needs attention now and then. And my days of hauling around a giant dull pair of loppers is long gone! Especially now that I have this cute, delightful little chainsaw! Today I was out cutting low branches, vines, bushes, suckers, prickers, scrawny things, rigid things... anything that was in the way, potentially in the way, or could become in the way. No more fears of decapitation or loosing a limb when I'm out mowing! The downside of this gadget was me having too much fun with it, cause now I have a LOT of clean up to do with all the cutting I did! (!!) As for battery life, I quit before the battery did and again- I cut a lot! I will also add that anything I cut was no more than 3 inches round, to which this saw did efficiently cut through. I did not pursue any 6 inch stuff, but if I had to make a cut or 2 I'd certainly go for it. I do kind of wonder though how many folks here commented about cutting 6 inch logs, if they were truly 6 inches, or just a (mans) definition of 6 inches? That being said, I might suggest getting a bigger saw for those "bigger" jobs, especially if you have more than a few and your expectations are high. Otherwise don't complain about short battery life or the equipment getting hot! In my opinion this chainsaw is not intended to be a workhorse kind of thing, but rather a handy and efficient convenience tool. Lightweight with the battery in it, good hand grip, super easy to use, and decent cutting ability as it powered through everything I put in front of it quickly and easily. A worthy purchase that I'd recommend for all walks of life, I 'll say no more! Read more

I was pleasantly surprised by how powerful this Seesii Mini Chainsaw is for its size. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and perfect for trimming small branches and cutting firewood around the yard. The 6-inch blade cuts smoothly, and the two included batteries last longer than I expected — one charges while the other is in use, so you can keep working without much downtime. It’s also easy to assemble and operate, even if you’re not super experienced with power tools. My husband loves using it for quick cleanups after storms, and it’s become one of his go-to tools. Definitely a great gift idea for dads or anyone who likes doing outdoor work without the hassle of a big, heavy chainsaw. Highly recommend for light to medium-duty cutting jobs! Read more

Wow! This really works great. I have a Milwaukee M12 and Ryobi mini chainsaw and this one is now my go-to. The Milwaukee is a bit weak and heavy. The Ryobi is more powerful but even heavier. This Seesii model has a fast chain speed and is very light and balanced well (using the included 2ah batteries). Makita batteries fit this model (yes, I tested it). I've used it thru 2 batteries worth so far. How long the unit will last overall, I cannot say. But for what I paid for it (nineteen smackers on sale), I really don't care if it only lasts a couple years. While I did get this at a really good deal, I would not hesitate to pay the full price after using it. If the batteries die, I'll just use Makita brand batteries. It comes with a wall-wart battery charger which takes a LONG time to charge the batteries (.75a rated which will...mathematically speaking... take 2 1/4 hours to charge a completely dead battery). A tool like this make cutting up limbs super easy. I use it for branches 1" to 4" in diameter. Less then that, I use battery powered shears. Over that, I use a full size chainsaw (gas or battery). IMPORTANT NOTE: This item will take 36 *OR* 37 drive link chains. Please note that with ANY battery powered chainsaw, you have to let the saw cut WITHOUT putting much pressure on the saw. If you reef on the saw, you'll bog down the motor and either stall it, overheat it, or reduce battery life SIGNIFICANTLY. If its not cutting without a lot of down force, you have a dull chain. Sharpen it or replace it. Period. You are going to order spare chains so you have sharp ones ready to go, right? Don't make me slap you with a virtual frozen herring... :^) Read more
