I was hoping to use this to hang a pair of hand towels, but the bar under it is too close to the shelf for my taste. My hands fit easily, but hubby has bigger hands and it seems like he's going to break it accidentally someday. The bar the towels are supposed to go on is also rather thin and flexes a bit when either of us hang a towel. The plastic hooks are ok, but not big enough for any of our bath towels. It might be a good place to hang smaller items, but I am unsure what that might be for us. The height of the bar that wraps around the shelf to hold the items on is kind of low for my taste. It seems like my deodorant and other items will be knocked off if the shelf gets bumped. It just isn't ridged enough to prevent incidental vibration. I suspect that this shelf is going to work for us somewhere, but we haven't found that location. We probably will remove the lower hanging bar just to prevent it form being a problem for us.
