These sliders work perfectly for my needs. I'm using them on heavy tables which are moved around on low-pile carpeting in a school setting. The tables remain heavy and do not move out of place without exerting force, but when pushed they glide but before had dragged. So glad I looked at many different products before buying these. First of all, you get lots of them! And the price is great! I'm redoing my sewing/craft room so I have lots of heavy furniture that is just difficult to move on carpeting without taking everything out of the furniture. Even if I did, the furniture/shelves would still be heavy and difficult to move around. These little sliders are perfect! They fit under the legs of tables and under shelf legs easily. I didn't even have to remove anything to apply these. They have a little sticker that easily applies to the legs so they won't be shifting or coming off the legs when moving. I have tried so many different type products for my kitchen chairs that needed some TLC because the plastic bottom has broken off. Most lasted for only a few weeks to a couple of months before they would crack and break. I decided to try this product. All the chairs have been changed out to this product and the chairs are used on tile floors. So far it has held up - easy to install, works so well on my tile floor, it doesn't hang up on the tiles like the other products - it just glides nicely, and has been sturdy so far. Okay so my only gripe is that they're too short meaning the plastic portion isn't tall enough for deep pile carpet, the edges just sink in and they can't slide very well. Also the foam isn't as thick as some others. I imagine this is how all of the ones this diameter are and you have to buy a larger diameter if you want taller ones. These seem high quality, they just don't work on my carpets. Read more
