Before bed, after washing your face, put some of your face cream or lotion in the palm of your hand, add 3-5 of these American made, natural tanning drops, mix well and apply to your face, neck and decolleté. You'll wake up with a beautiful, natural-looking glow in the morning! It is not orange. It's a very believable, pretty tan color. I purchased the "dark" color and love it. I have olive skin. Let your natural skin tone dictate your choice of Light, Medium or Dark tanning drops. You can build your "tan" up as you like. If you want a darker color, simply add more drops to your moisturizer next time. Your healthy glow is free of toxins, fragrances and completely customizable to your liking. (Just add more or fewer drops). I love that this product is clean - free of harmful chemicals. I also love the idea of not having to bake in the sun in order to achieve a flattering, tanned look. Some don't live in sunny climates or have to endure long, cold winters; this product is ideal for you. You no longer have to look pale, sickly, or load up on makeup to give yourself a bit of color. Moreover, damage caused by the sun ages you and it's irreversible. Save your skin from wrinkles and sun spots, and "tan" with these drops instead. Tip: Wash the palms of your hands when you're done applying. I find that bar soap works better than liquid soap to get any staining from the tanning drops off the palm of your hands. This is a cosmetic solution and not a medical solution for vitiligo. That said, I found that careful application does work very well. It will need to be reapplied of course depending on your surrounding skin tone and fading, but it will help to cover the white areas, rather than applying makeup each time you go out. Here is what I found helpful for some vitiligo on my hands. For a trial application, I first made a small amount of lotion Less than 1 Tbsp in a paper cup with a few drops of tanner starting with lighter concentration. Mix very well with q-tip. With a fresh q tip or you could use an artist or small make up brush, gently paint a LIGHT application on the white areas. You don't want the lotion to go into the creases of your fingers which will look artificial so keep it at the surface of the skin. :) Also, do this in very good light so you can see the exact delineation of darker skin to lighter. Let it develop and see if you need several applications to match you skin tone. This may take a couple of days to accomplish the perfect result. If you apply too concentrated a solution or too heavily applied, it will look blotchy and color will be off. Next step. For ease of use and consistency of application, I found that mixing a Tbsp in a very tiny glass bottle with more tanning drops and applying it for a couple of days is achieving a perfect match. I don't want it darker than my skin around it, just to blend in and I am seeing this accomplished. Be patient with the process of checking how it developed in your skin. It's time consuming, but worth it. I think that vitiligo is challenging as it is a noticeable condition, but not contagious. When out in public, I don't want people to be concerned wondering what is this skin condition-scars or something contagious-so I have covered it. I hope this will be a more long lasting solution than applying foundation. I use this product every 2-3 days. I don't need to use it daily...it works that well! I found that if I used it daily I'd be a little darker than I wanted to be. Great tone, no bad scent, easy to apply with my favorite moisturizer. Hands down the best self tanner I've ever used! Read more
