Right out of the bag, it’s soft and attractive. It fits the way you’d expect from an oversized sweater. It has enough weight to it that it drapes nicely but because it’s polyester, it won’t offer much warmth. My big issue is the quality. It’s cut rather than pieced and the inside edges aren’t finished so they’ll likely unravel quickly. The stitching is loose and with just the weight of the sweater they show clearly across the shoulders. I don’t expect that they’ll last more than a few washes. I’ll update if I’m wrong. Update - I wore it around the house for a couple of days and it’s comfortable but after coming out of a 2nd gentle wash, it does have a run starting down the back. I’m debating getting out my sewing machine and putting an overlock stitch on all the seams, which would solve the issue and I do like many things about this sweater, but not everyone has an overlock at home nor should anyone have to sew all the seams on a garment they just purchased to prevent it from coming apart at the seams.
