The glass is thick and well done, the “amber color“ is more pinkish and very lovely, and with an Edison bulb in place, it is a stunning fixture, especially for the price range, to any home. We love this light. We live in a 150 year old farmhouse. We had lovely ceiling lights in our lower and upper halls, but they were closed-globe, had 4 bulbs each, and were 10+ feet from the floor. To change the bulbs, we had to pull out a tall ladder, unscrew and hand down the globe, remove the old bulbs, hand them down, then hand up the new bulbs, etc. It was an ordeal. We ordered these lights, which our electrician installed. They are in keeping with the style of the house and best of all, they are open and there's one bulb to replace. Yay! It was a nice bonus that a bulb was included with the lights, too. They are beautiful -- we love the pattern on the ceiling that the light throws off through the glass. Oh, and using the data printed on the lightbulb box, we found replacement bulbs on Amazon, so I ordered two boxes of them. We're all set for many years to come! Read more
Love love these pretty lights. I bought the white ones which don’t throw reflections on the wall like the clear ones do in other reviews. Nonetheless I am happy with the way they look and the amount of light they put out. Easy to install as well. Read more
