Wearing tight socks impedes the circulation in my feet, particularly if they are tight in the center of my foot where there is a pulse point or around my ankle where there’s another pulse point. Although I am an overweight female senior citizen, I still have feet that are an average width (B width), so I can’t wear men’s size large socks with shoes on. I ordered these socks not because they have wool in them but because they do NOT have spandex! They are perfect. They are not constricting at all yet they stay in place perfectly. Of course, the wool is an added value in the winter for keeping my feet warm. They are well made and stay in place nicely and they are fitted enough so that I can wear them with B width sneakers. Finally, a sock that I can wear over my leggings and skinny jeans without my leg looking like a busted can of biscuits!
