These socks were labeled as thick and warm. They were not thick but they are very nice socks, such cute colors, wash well. There are fairly warm socks that are not for winter but probably great for spring and fall. I would buy these again. They do run a little small and if I buy them again I'll get the next size up. this is the third set of these that I've gotten and the first 2 sets were warm, thick and very pretty. I always get compliments when I wear them. But this set is much thinner than the previous 2 (although the fiber content is the same). questioning whether these are going to keep my feet warm. also the socks have zero stretch and the sizing is not standard; some socks are very tight fitting and others are looser. again, pretty disappointing Also, 2 of the pairs in this set are virtually the same color combination (blue red and white), although it's not clear from the picture b/c they're not next to each other and the color is muted on one of them in the picture. sort of disappointing. So I bought these wool socks from Amazon and I got them then washed them put in my drawer. I usually don't wear socks to bed cuz I'll go to sleep in socks and wake up and they're gone via sock monster who took them or they're at the bottom of the bed. This is the first night that not only were my feet comfortable and super warm but they were very soft, they stayed on my feet and I thoroughly enjoyed them!
