This mat is perfect for yoga and large enough for 4 yogi's! It's thick with plenty of cushion, it doesn't slip and neither do we. When I place a heavy bench or weights on it, it dents a bit but only temporarily. It bounces right back. Only rubber mats do this in my experience and the smell of rubber mats is unbearable. It's large and decent, but so stinky. I had to move it far from the bedrooms as it gave me a headache. Thinking to return because afraid of getting poisoned by the chemical stink. Also poorly packaged...arrived directly in its carry bad, which got dirty...luckily not torn. Inside of the bag, it was wrapped in plastic. It is quite heavy...not for a female to carry.
