The vest is very well constructed with tons of shimmering sequins. This looks very expensive covering the fabric completely and not just cheaply sewn rows of sequins. The front is secured with 3 nearly invisible snaps. The size 6 is a bit snug across my 5' frame, 34DD chest, but still wearable. I'll probably just leave the top (and maybe the bottom) snap open. The vest is appropriate for any fancy type affair. For less dressy occasions, it could worn with pants and possible a camisole underneath. Dressy and a bit of flash without looking too wild. I love this festive vest. The quality is very good. The size is true. I wear small as a rule and ordered 6- it fits perfectly. There is a bit of room in the arm pits but still fits very well. The sequins are well spaced and they appear to be on to stay. I don't note any strings or missed stitching. I love this for many applications. I love the sparkly sequins on this vest and how easy it is to throw on and elevate a basic pair of jeans or pants. It looks nice alone or underneath a blazer, and the sequins don't seem to bother me or chafe my skin. I'm 5' 8", 34B, and about 128 lbs, and ordered the size 6. I think the construction is a bit unusual because a 6 would normally be big on me, but this somehow feels tight but looks slightly baggy. It's as if the inner lining is sewn more tightly than the exterior sequins. It looks fine but I find myself wanting to cinch the waist in somewhat to make it more flattering, while also wondering why it feels tight around my chest but looks so loose, it's not even creating any cleavage. I like the way it looks in general but I think it has a few design flaws that keep it from being 5 stars in my book. Read more
