I look at the cost and think it might be a bit much, but honestly, this alarm clock is great. I can sometimes not hear an alarm bc i have to wear earplugs for the snorer nearby. You CAN NOT sleep through this. It is perfect and small enough for travel. I actually use this i stead of my bedside clock when i need to wake up early. Read more

Bright lights, adjustable loud tones and vibrations, snooze alarm. Does the job. Layout of the controls and setting process are not intuitive - it takes some practice and repetition to be comfortable setting the features, volumes and times you want. I’d pay more for a sliding protective cover over the screen to protect it when packed for travel. This was a useful feature of my prior clock, the ShakeAwake. Read more

Needed a new vibrating alarm clock to replace my 15 year old one. This alarm clock checks all my boxes when I saw it. Although the aesthetic design is not really my cuppa tea, but waking me up with the vibration function is more important to me, after all. The alarm clock is well made and feels solid. Pretty hefty for its size and nicely constructed. I also like the display is encased in a hard plastic window, so I don’t have to worry about cracking the LCD screen whilst sleeping or trying to switch off the alarm. The clock also features a countdown timer and temperature reading! I did not know that, so I was quite impressed by these little bonuses. Apart from that, the clock is really well featured. Has almost everything important you need in a vibrating alarm clock. I also like the various alarm sound options I can select from. and like the flexibility of selecting the alarm sound and vibration combinations I want on one of the side sliding switches. There are a few things I don’t like about this product though. 1. The vibrating motor is weak. It vibrates in a fuzzy, mushy kind of way. It’s hard to explain in words, but you know it when you tried a few other vibrating alarm clocks. The motor vibration needs more power and solidness. Its mushiness tells me the motor is of a low quality sort. Not only it doesn’t jolt me up in the morning, but I’m not even sure about it’s durability, and longevity. 2. The interface control is kind of clunky and easy to make mistakes on. For example, the push-once function and then the hold-for-another function can be confusing at times and easy to hit the wrong keys, so I did get frustrated at times. The flashing icons can be rather busy and distracting on the display, and you have to select the right controls whilst the right icon is flashing. All this feels a little clunky in actual use. However, after some practices, I did start to get the hang of it, but I wish it was simpler to learn in the first place. 3. The display is very difficult to read at certain angles, mostly hard to see from higher up, or lower down. The ideal viewing angle window is quite narrow, where I found myself ducking and bobbing my head many times to read the clock. When viewing directly straight on, the display is large and pin sharp though. Overall, this is a decent vibrating alarm clock for the hard of hearing users like myself. It does work and works pretty well at it too. Has many features and useful options. However, there are some rough edges around the design of the product. If you can see pass them, then do give this product a try. Read more
