Dead simple to set up and install - just need a window or a place to put the vent. Has run beautifully since day one (about a month in). Set the average temperature as wanted and it will automatically go to either cooling or heating as required to hold temperature. Would buy another without hesitation. Read more

If you live alone, it is really silly to constantly run a massive central air unit. All I need is the space around me to be cool or warm, not the entire home! This has some great direction louvers so I can guide the air flow directly onto me. Setup was a piece of cake. Be sure to attach the hose-to-unit adapter first, then the hose-to-window adapter. You're going to have a thin piece of plastic and some cracks for air to escape afterwards. This can result in both heat loss and noise to the environment, Here is an excellent remedy to both those problems https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VZBVC95?ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details&th=1 .The description was not clear about the warranty but it comes with a LIFETIME WARRANTY registration card. This is the best deal I have found for any portable ac unit. Read more

Do not buy! Does not heat and no help from company. Cooling worked while I needed it, just after my 30 day return window tried the heat and it will not heat. So I'm left with $300 scrap. Think I'm about to ditch Amazon too if this continues. Several things lately Read more

When I bought this AC it was quite warm here. Now the weather has actually cooled off to a comfortable level. I have not opened the box yet and it is sitting comfortably in my garage. One thing that did surprise me was the weight of the unit. Picking it up and moving it still in the box was a surprise but manageable. I would suggest opening the box right in your living room to set up the wheels right away so that you are not straining yourself. It’s heavy. Read more

Works as described. Planning to buy another one. Highly recommend! Set temp and unit will do the rest. Read more

Auto heat/cool is one temp 75F. But if using for either AC or heat the e4 code for the bin being full does not turn off the unit and it will flood your floor. But it works. I'll just have to restrict it to my boat so I can bilge the excessive water it collects. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This is basically just like having mini central air! Ready to go right away besides the fact that it needs to be upright for 6 hours before use for the air conditioner coolant to settle. It's about 45 lbs so lifting it straight up is a no go; just plan to have heavy duty scissors with you. After that, everything else is literally a breeze. There's wheels on the bottom, so you can roll to whatever you'd like and it takes up less than a foot square of floor space. It comes with the window mount and duct for the air conditioner vent. The heating mode does not need a vent, just for the right side to be exposed a bit for air intake. So once you've got it in it's perfect position, you basically have central air now. You can set it to central air mode where it turns on air conditioning past a certain temp, and heating past another. You can also turn either function on independently, plus set a sleep timer and control fan speed (and noise level). I wouldn't say the fan is quiet, but it's no noisier than an average window unit air conditioner or fan blown electric heater. You can hear the modes in my video. This climate controls my whole RV (with the rooms' doors open) which is about 300 sq ft. Pretty impressive. The icons are super small for no good reason which is not good for people over 40. Not a fan of this lol. I can't tell the difference between them but luckily, their positions are fixed and I will memorize them eventually. I mostly have this in central air mode anyways. The instructions explain each icon and setting and it's worth reading because they're so small that it's not intuitive what they do. Overall, I love having one HVAC unit to set up, plan space for, and program for the whole year, especially the times of year where I need AC in the day and heat at night. It works great for many versatile settings and I'd definitely recommend it for anyone who uses electric heat and AC. Read more
