I bought this car as a college student on a budget living in a small apartment. I have had some RC experience in the past and I missed having something to play with, so I bought this with the intention of just using it indoors. For the low price, this car is surprisingly high quality. The entire experience (packaging, instructions, car) are very high quality. The car has been a blast to drive around the apartment. It slips out on the wood floor, but has good traction on the carpet. It’s super quick for the size, I even 3D printed some ramps for it to do jumps. So far it’s been holding up great. For indoor use it’s pretty much indestructible! Don’t except anything too fancy, but for what you’re paying you’ll have a ton of fun! Read more
If you are thinking about buying this little car do it. It has proportional steering and throttle and a gyro and is fast enough to race around the house or porch, not even sure you would need faster for inside. Sure the micro b is faster and upgradeable but for less than half the price you cant beat it. Read more
Outstanding little car, it's fast the steering is responsive the trim options work great I literally can't get enough of this thing. Small enough for inside rugged enough for outside the battery last almost an hour on a charge and there only like $20 from the manufacturer to get more oh and the controller chimes at you when the car is low on power. I will recommend this to anyone who is trying to have an RC car to play with but doesn't want to spend $100 + on the real deal. My major complaints are the plastic shell body limits the rear suspension so I trimmed mine for clearance it immediately made the car more stable on bumpy terrain. The antenna on the car is hidden under the shell I had to pop mine through the top but it got me probably another 40ft of range on the controller. Oh and the controller takes double AA batteries I would have preferred to see that be rechargeable too Read more
I don't recommend for kids it's hard to control, but with some experience it's a blast 😜 Read more
This is the perfect indoor RC buggy! It's very fast, powerful enough to rip across even high-pile carpets, and the battery lasts a very long time. The radio (remote) works just fine too. This may not have oil filled suspension, in fact, no shocks up front, but it does everything you need for some living-room racing and then some. The price point is just perfect for what I was looking for. I didn't want the $10 micro trucks, nor did I want to spend $100 on something way too much for the house. At roughly fifty bucks, this is the one you want for some indoor RC mayhem! Read more
Insanely fast little car! I was impressed. It makes for a great driveway car because of the size and surprisingly fast. The radio works great! The battery is simple to charge. Great buy, wish I had gotten two batteries. Read more
Fun little off-road racer, good speed settings, I think I might swap out electronics and metal gearing Read more
Great buggy for indoor bashing. Parts are easy to find. Especially motor, gears, and battery. Those parts are generic. The modular battery design is not entirely what I would go for. However, you can change out the battery and solder a new one in pretty easily. I haven’t taken the rest of the car apart to see how it’s all put together. However, I’m assuming you could probably solder on a small connector and run cheap little flat lipos. There’s a little bit of space below the shell to fit batteries with hook and loop tape. This is definitely one of those buggies to keep around for years. My only complaint is the resolution on the transmitter sucks. Steering is only in the inner 50% of throw. So the outer 25% on either side is just dead throw. This also could be in the ESC/receiver programming to limit servo throw due to space constraints. I do recommend adding grease to moving parts. Not need, but does help with wear and tear. 10/10 will buy for friends. Read more
