Not "Great"
To begin, what a fun twist on an original idea that has been around for a long time. They were cute, not too complicated (for an adult). And did produce a small amount of ice cream in a fairly short period of time. Problem. The instructions said to put something like a cup or two of cream in the metal "chamber". However - unless I was doing something wrong - I was only able to fit around 1/2 cup of cream without risking overflow. And although it did eventually make a little ice cream (that was pretty cool!), it was a TINY amount..like less than a few teaspoons worth. So the boys used them once, maybe twice. And they have been in the cabinet now for a while. Ultimately they were fun once or twice from a novelty point of view, but not really a high enough "frozen treat" yield to make it worth doing all that often. Read more
