The material on these Shadowline 30" Pettilegs is actually very soft and comfortable — no complaints there. Unfortunately, the fit just wasn’t what I expected. It would have been helpful if they would put an inseam length on it like other pettilegs. This material didn't feel like the usual 100% nylon slips, but it would have been okay if it wasn't so long. Since I am only 5'3", it came well below my knee, middle of my shins. I had chosen this over the others as I didn't want 6 inches of scratchy lace in those "cut to length" ones that look horrible. I wanted one like the Vanity Fair that has been discontinued. So still on the hunt for one with just the lace edging. So I hope they make a little shorter one for us shorter people. I still want below the knee but not to wear with a long maxi skirt, most of my lengths are at the mid calf so I need something a little higher than that so it doesn't show and extend further than the skirt.
