UPDATE (12/19/17): This is my hands down favorite hot yoga towel. It is the exact same size as my standard mat and it doesn't budge during hot yoga, which is all I can ask for. I put it through the washer and dryer in a mesh bag and it cleans up just fine. It hasn't shrunk and the bottom is still grippy. The day I was going to buy more, they took it down and I was DEVESTATED. I needed another one, so I bought a different brand that was semi-similar and I was so disappointed. It didn't even come close to this one. Then they put them back up and I was so relieved! Going to buy several more right away as backups. I used this as an emergency travel mat on my recent four day vacation. I practiced yoga every day of the four days using this towel instead of a regular mat, and I was pretty impressed. Pros: Grippy underside means that it didn't move at all through my practice (I used it on a rug on top of hardwood). It's thin and was easy to fold up and toss in my suitcase--the size and thickness of a few t-shirts once it was folded. No smell out of the package. Seems easy to clean. The grey was a nice color. Cons: It was thin to the point of being able to see light through it if you hold it up, so if you're doing anything on hardwood with just this as your mat, don't expect any softness or support for your hands, back, or knees. A little bit slippy if you don't wet it down first/if you're not sweating as this is intended for hot yoga. If you're using this on top of your regular mat for hot yoga (it's intended use), I wouldn't see any problems with it. The material is soft, absorbs sweat, and becomes more grippy the more you sweat.
