These are very cute bottoms that fit well once I got them on. I think the openings are a bit tight and stiff for something labeled compression, I heard the scary sounds of threads popping as I pulled them over my hips. They are incredibly flattering on, but I did not feel like I was wearing shape wear like I expected. This could be good or bad depending on your view. I wanted a little more shaping than what they provided, but the ruching does do it’s job. Read more

You've heard of hourglass figures? I have an hour and a half glass figure. And I'm short too, 5'3. So no adorable one piece swimsuit for me. I've got to piecemeal durable, wearable, "comfortable" items that last through playing with the grandkids as well as partying with posse. These Shapermint High Waisted Bottoms (size Large) are perfect. Now, full disclosure, they are not 'high waisted' on me. They fully cover and shape "compress" my bum and belly, stopping at my waist. Which for me, is brilliant. They don't roll down. They don't bum creep up. They stay put. No tugging, pulling, or re-adjustment in anyway. I was suggested to buy an XL, which I did last year and returned them. There was no sucking me in, and they were too long on my torso. This year I was desperate and thought what the heck, try again with a Large, and wa-la, Ideal. And I'm leaving this review, because I'm now buying 4 more for the summer. Woot woot Read more
These were not what I hoped for, kind of disappointed in my choice. I really wanted to love this shapewear swimsuit bottom but it just didn’t work for me. The fabric felt thin and offered little to no compression, so it didn’t smooth or shape the way it claimed. The butt felt saggy but the leg openings were kind of tight. Read more
