I'm a fan of Shark products and have several (upholstery cleaner, regular and cordless vacuum cleaners). My last Shark steam mop finally died after regular use for 10+ years. I didn't even consider any other brand. My floors were pleading with me for a clean, that said, this bad boy was in use within a hour of delivery. I love it and the blue is a nice touch! It's lighter weight and quieter than the last one. The steam is powerful and just right. Compared to the older model, the cord is several feet shorter and the water reservoir is smaller, not a big deal. I love the attachments which my old model didn't have. I used the flat, padded tool on the dog door opening, cleaned it easily, no scrubbing. I don't have kids that make messes but I have a dog and I'm a dog sitter, so my floors are always being cleaned. Works great! Upgraded from the previous one with the lift-away feature. I haven't used thst feature yet. I prefer steamers to regular mops for sanitizing. Cord length is good. Easy to use. Read more

Okay, I’m getting very sceptical only due to the fact it says you have an option to buy new or used. Which majority time you get used.. I believe my package was used due to the fact that the box was taped up and everything was wrapped up not from the manufacturer directly however it is a good steamer. It works so far. I like the option of the detached part to steam the carpet and the sofa or mattress. However it does take a little time to steam up. I originally had the scrubber one before and I think that’s better option and they only give you one pad which I think for that price at least put two on what am I gonna clean one rag at a time? After 4 months of use, it’s time to review. Foremost, the steam mop is a floor mop. Here is where it shines. The hot steam does lift dirt and cleaning my floors is easier and quicker than mopping. And the floor dries quickly. Per the product instructions, you may need to mop over heavy traffic areas more than once. Still quicker than traditional mopping. Overall, as a floor mop it is easy to use and does the job. As a grout cleaner, using the grout attachment actually didn’t allow the steam to get into corners. And the attachment frayed after the first use. Cleaning wasn’t easy. I like the idea of using steam to clean the shower, but concluded that a foaming cleaner with a toothbrush did a better job. The triangular sponge for cleaning tight areas and counters left everything very wet. I have to quickly follow with a microfiber cloth to prevent water marks. Shark could improve the device by adding indicator lights. One light for when the device is ready to use and one for when the device needs more water. Tip: The instructions say not to overfill. To avoid overfilling, you’ll need 1 1/2 water fills with the filling flask. You only get one mop pad. I purchased more on Amazon through a third party. They didn’t fit this model. You have to buy additional pads directly through Shark per the product instructions. Yet, the Shark model from Amazon is not listed on Shark’s accessories website. Read more

love the lift off feature I would like to see other attachments though as I would love one with a small round opening for pinpoint cleaning none of the ones that came with it do that but it does do a great job otherwise cleaned my windows fast and shiny clean Read more

The steam fixture and pad on this steamer are shown with a no touch pad changing feature. See the first and 5th pictures. (changed from initial review which referenced the 1st and 4th pictures). We had a previous version Shark steamer that was designed with a split mop head and pad and we found it very handy when loading the pad and when changing it hot. Hence, a big reason we purchased this one. The cover of the owners guide also shows the split mop head and steamer pad, but the parts list inside show the 1 piece mop head and pad. Read more
