This is a very sharp microwave oven—no pun intended. It's noticeably quieter and gets things done with the same amount of cooking. It's much hotter than the old oven, rated at the same 1100 watts. It's a great microwave oven—worth owning. I'm pleased with the transaction. Read more

I've been using this for about 3 months and it works and is consistent but the safety door lock is annoying. It's probably less annoying than on other microwaves as it's now a requirement, but dang. I miss the days you can just open the door when it's done or in the middle of cooking when you see things boiling over. The way it's implemented on this microwave is usable, but not seamless. On the positives, it looks good, cooks and defrosts well, and is big so I haven't had to worry about the size of what I put in it to heat up. Read more

I replaced my sharp microwave with this one. It has the same features and buttons are convenient. I enjoy the quick 1-6 one touch buttons and the 30 sec button that you can hit more than once. Our other sharp migrated to my husband’s workshop, it’s still going strong. Noise levels normal, cook power matches package instructions. Read more
