Very nice shave bowl.

I decided to try a stone shaving bowl; I’ve used plastic, ceramic, copper, scuttle, and face lather. This stone is hefty and holds water (non-porous). I used very hot water to soak the stone then emptied and made a nice warm lather - the bowl was steaming still after I finished lathering. The stone has a little “grit” to it’s easy to make a lather. It fits nicely in the hand but gets a tad heavy so I set it on a small towel or facecloth. For the price it’s definitely worth trying a new way to lather. Read more
