These jars are very nice looking. Perfect as the description suggests for qtips and for anything that needs contained. I’m using one for qtips and one for hair clips and binders. I may get more for all of the other stuff that needs contained. The jars are a hearty weight which I like for bathroom use, they stay put and don’t feel delicate. I was able to fit a lot of qtips in one jar (more than the picture lol) which is nicer than the big bulky package stuffed in a drawer. The lid is nice to keep the contents of the jar covered. The glass has ridges which is nice as it obscures what is inside. One thing I’m not sure about is the lid. It sets on top but is wider by a fair margin than the jar. I was able to fit 2 qtips in the gap as my picture shows. It’s hard to describe but it feels like it should be a little more snug. It’s not a dealbreaker by any means but I thought it was worth mentioning. With that being said, I’m thinking about using one of the lids on its own to store my rings securely by the sink. Honestly these jars could be used anywhere in the house for different purposes that I’m really going to have a hard time deciding for the second one. Do yourself a favor and just go for the 4 count instead of the 2 count like I did! Read more

These are very beautiful apothecary Q-tip jars for a classy and nostalgic look in your bathroom, bedroom or vanity. They harken back to a simpler time when we had a simpler and much smaller number of options. The venerable, lowly Q-tip was, an. still is, used for a wide variety of tasks from personal hygiene to detailing tight spaces on your car to being very useful for cleaning all sorts of things in your shop. The little twirl of cotton makes the Q-tips great for a wide range of applications ranging from applying makeup to putting oil or grease on tools. The amber color version is especially nostalgic and has a chic look and feel. The fluted glass sides and sunburst motif lid are exquisite. The clear version is just as beautiful, but seems it would be more at home in a clinic or physician's office. You could use one jar for Q-tips and the other for cotton balls. They were well-packed in dense foam protective packing inside the shipping carton to ensure they maketthe transit safely. At $6.50 each, they seem a real bargain given their beauty and especially the amber colored version. There is something special about the glass construction and that classic look that sets these apart from any clear-and-smooth-sided glass with an aluminum lid. These are perfect for my vanity, they have an expensive look. An elegant Mid-century Vibe, with ribbing on the outside, smooth on the inside, and beautiful fluted glass. They’re sturdy with a nice weight, but not too heavy, so I never worry about breaking the lid when putting it back on. I love how effortless it is to take the lid on and off, unlike other jars with annoying seals. The lids keep everything clean, and the size is just right—not too deep or too shallow.
