I have to be honest, i bought these to turn into leg warmers. I cut off the sock part and hand sewed them into leg warmers for a costume. So, im going to be reviewing them through this scope. They feel really nice and keep me warm, they are definitely the height you ordered, I was impressed with how much like the picture they looked. You might need something to hold them up, as any very long warn sock, they sag a bit, I even noticed it in them as leg warmers, but I didnt mind because leg warmers are supposed to sag a little. These are really warm and cozy. The knit style is always a good go to when you want to texture up an outfit especially when wearing boots. Unfortunately, they are so long that trying to make them thigh high was really difficult, I had to bunch them up and especially because they don't stretch well at the top. So I won't be able to actually wear them as thigh socks. Noted that I'm 5'5" and 125lbs so I don't think it's because my thighs are too big. I did end up wearing them like you would leg warmers over tights with boots and it looked really cute. So they aren't really functional for what I had hoped for and they aren't easy to get on.
