Shinok Travel Umbrella Compact Folding Sun Umbrellas Lighweight Auto Open Close for Women Parasol

I originally bought this to use as a rain umbrella, but have discovered how effective it is as a parasol. I used it to stand in line out on a hot sidewalk and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the temperature under the umbrella was a good 5-7 degrees cooler than with another umbrella that didn't have the black layer inside. This umbrella is auto open and close, so it should be practical to use in the rain as well. It folds down to a compact size, but has a larger canopy than you would expect for a folding umbrella. I'm really pleased with the color too - exactly as it appeared on my monitor. It's a very pretty shade of pale mint green. You have to work a bit to get it folded and strapped tightly enough to fit it inside its carrying case, but if that is a problem, I could just not put it back in its case! I have only had it for a couple of months, so can't speak to the durability. If it breaks within a year, I will definitely come back and revise this review. Read more

I usually walk 2 laps around the building during my break time at work and I've been using regular umbrella to avoid direct sunlights. And my co-worker got the sun umbrella and found out that it blocks more heat. So I was searching for the similar one and found this and I really like this one. Auto open and close and light weight and pretty color. I use it everyday and got another one for my son. Wish there is more selection of the colors. Happy with the purchase. Read more

Let's start off by saying our summers get to 112° sometimes. I am a sun protection freak! Not only is my skin sensitive to the sun because of my rosacea, but i also don't want the risk of skin cancers. This umbrella is the best I have ever had so far. It really blocks the sun and it stays strong during really windy days. I use this every single time I am in the sun; even if it's just walking into the store.I bought this about almost a year ago and it's still working!!!!! The colors are exactly what you get.
