Does it’s job
Bought this for my Little League player, and I can confidently say it passed the most important test: no complaints. It fits well, stays in place, and doesn’t get “that look” when he puts his gear on — which tells me it’s doing its job. It’s lightweight, breathable, and apparently comfortable enough to forget about once the game starts. As a parent, I’m happy knowing everything that needs protecting is protected. Would absolutely buy again (hopefully not often needed, though). Read more

Protection that FITS!
I can finally wear a cup! I'm on the larger side of average and the one my compression shorts came with did not fit with out smashing and pinching my manhood. Overall a good buy. I figure now I'll be protected for jujitsu and the price was good. I had to do some serious searching online bc as much as the rep for shock doc tried to tell me via email- the extra large cup is NOT available in stores. He thought it was and I can tell you it wasn't. I went to 3 Dicks Sporting Goods and they only had size large. Negatives: after putting it on for the first time it does seem beyond super hero huge. But with my pants and shirt on it looks less bulky. For those wondering it's not so much that the cup was not long enough. The issue I had was the size large cup the shorts came with was too narrow and not deep enough. The extra large fits with out smashing and pinching and yet is tight enough to actually protect. solid for grappling/jits
i used to use the diamond mma for grappling and it destroy all my tendons and adductors, this is way lighter and has some flex on the sides so it doesnt dig in to your muscles and tear your groin, and is almost as tough.. works great for grappling and probably kickboxing too (havent tried it for kickboxing yet) Read more
Not great for younger kids
The cup is not as low profile as I was looking for. Finding the right sizing for my 9 year old has proven difficult. The product quality is fine seems durable and looks as pictured. Read more
Great product
We had already tried other large cups from Shock Doctor and other brands but they were all too small. We bought a Shock Doctor Adult Small jockstrap to use it with and it fit inside it, just like it should. The cup is comfortable enough to run, jump, squat, lunge, and sit with. Gets a bit uncomfortable after an hour and a half wearing it, but that’s pretty much the same with any cup. The cup has some flexibility but is pretty firm overall. Gave great protection when hit by a cleat and an elbow. Protected everything as it should. Read more
