I've tried on many tall boots that claim to be wide calf and these are the first pair that fit and are flattering. The soft faux suede is comfortable and slightly slouchy. I was able to wear them with fleece lined leggings and regular socks with room to spare in the calf area. The material does not collapse with wear like some boots that hav a soft, less structured boot shaft. They feel like flats even with the slight heel. The only con I noticed is that the zipper on my left boot wasn't super smooth. However, there is enough stretch in the boot shaft that I don't have to unzip it all the way to get it on my foot - I don't want to yank it up and down and break the zipper. I mean, they are $35 so the quality isn't going to be designer level. Overall, these are comfy, stylish and a great price. I will probably get another pair in a different color. Buy them! Read more

Beautiful boots. Size 6.5 wide calf. Top calf 16", mid calf 14", ankle 10". The foot bed is nice and wide very comfortable. The largest part of my calf is 16" and I feel like these boots are too big to wear with a skirt. They would be fine with jeans or leggings tucked in. First off, these are NOT suede as the product description claims. They are a soft suede like material. I kept thinking woah, Im getting suede boots for $39.00 (I should have known better). I did read the reviews before I purchased and at the time, no one had mentioned that they arent suede. Otherwise they're nice boots. They are wide calf, mine is about 18.2 and I have lots of room left so I can wear leggings or wear them over skinny jeans. They dont have that funnel effect that alot of wide calf boots have, which is nice because Im not a fan of that look at all. If you wear them alot, I can't see them lasting for more than a season. Now, if we can get this boot in a genuine suede with a nice wood sole, I would give them a 10/10. Ive been searching and searching and this is the closest I could find. The heel is flat, they are pretty comfortable, if you want to add an insole, I would size up a half size otherwise they are true to size. I wear an 8.5, thats what I ordered and they fit perfectly.
