Not great, Pretty plasticky

These boots just kind of looked cheap out of the box and the insulation is minimal for something advertised as a winter boot. Maybe for winter in southern states, but not Minnesota. They don't feel like they will last very long, but honestly, I don't know if they will be worn enough to find out. To be fair, the look could just be personal preference, but the brown ones at least looked much more like plastic than leather. They seem comfortable enough if you like the style. My daughter-in-law thought that she might buy them if they $15, but they the price seemed high for what they are. Read more

Costume grade boots, simple but effective!

These are a PU type fabric boot, and so it wont stand fully upright when wearing and does come with a strong odor right out of the box. I let them air for a day and it seems to be gone. These have a foam type cushioning inside the side of the boot which is nice, and the bottom sole feels pretty standard. Firm, but not uncomfortable. The zipper is a bit snug to pull up over pants, but it does have an elastic pleat at the top to help with the size. One thing I noticed is the heel on the sole is a square, and the boot is rounded in the back so it sticks out fairly noticeably. I purchased the black and it is in between a matte and a shine finish. Overall it is okay for a cost effective boot, especially for a costume or short term wear but it is not the same quality as some better built contenders. It'll be great for our Hamilton costume!
