These shorts are super nostalgic to me and I adore them, but, as I mentioned in the title, they’re not actually “low rise”. Especially not in the traditional Y2K sense, lol! 😬 I will admit I was looking forward to sporting a pair of true low rise athletic shorts again… at the same time though, I’m not that pressed over the rise. Just for informative purposes I’d say that they’re more of a mid to high rise style depending on your body type. I’m 5’2 about 110 ish lbs and they’re very much high rise on me (obviously). In my picture, you can see they even cover the majority of my belly button! Lol, they’re just so darn cute on my frame that I’ll give them a pass! As other reviewers have stated, they truly do remind me of those 90s style brand name running/windbreaker shorts also! True, this fabric is not that buttery soft yoga style we’ve grown accustomed to but I don’t find it uncomfortable or bothersome either. I enjoy changing it up honestly. The only other off thing I want to mention is that I’m wearing the XS size in the grey color and the sizing seems to run a bit on the large side, for this color at least. They are really cute athlesure wear though and they’re not restricting at all, yet stay up nicely per the waistband. I’m kinda obsessed with the way these shorts enhance my assets! 😂🍑 Since they’re not skin tight, they somewhat bubble out and enhance certain areas. 😉 It’s one of the advantages to this type of material! They feel durable and like a decent quality as well. The grey color is like a muted silver almost. I know I’ll appreciate this color’s pretty aesthetic and ability to pair with a wide variety of other colors! These shorts will be great for the gym, running, just lounging, errands, or anything casual really. They’re totally giving “cute and confident even when I’m a hot mess” type vibe. Can’t wait to enjoy them this spring/summer! 😎 Read more

These athletic shorts are okay, but I think they're overpriced given the fabric. It has a cheap feel. They're comfortable once worn for a while, but I wouldn't pay full price for them. They might be better suited to water sports than to everyday wear. They're not bad; they aren't the best shorts I've ever worn. Plus, there aren't pockets. Those are a must-have for me. They're at least cute with an average length. They'd be good for gardening in. Read more

I really like these shorts for working out or going on walks. The material is very lightweight and breathable, which makes them comfortable in warm weather. One thing I appreciate is that they don’t stick to my skin the way leggings sometimes do, especially when you start sweating. They also have a nice flowy fit, so they move easily and don’t feel restrictive. Because of the relaxed design, they also help prevent thigh friction during activity, which makes longer walks or workouts more comfortable. The sporty side stripe and low-rise style give them a cute, trendy look, but for me they work best as workout shorts because the fabric is so light and airy. Overall, they’re comfortable, easy to wear, and a great option if you prefer something looser and more breathable than leggings for exercise. Read more

I recently picked up these athletic striped shorts and overall I'm quite pleased with the overall quality. The construction feels solid right out of the package and the stitching is neat and secure with no loose threads or weak spots. The fabric feels as it should hold up well though it does have than crisper synthetic feel. Sizing runs pretty true to standard athletic wear so I didn't have any surprises there. The color really stands out too, the stripes pop nicely and give them a fresh energetic look that works great for casual workouts or poolside vibes. They're definitely a solid choice for swimming or hitting the gym as they are quick drying, supportive, and functional without any major flaws. That said, they're not the ultra plush lounge all day type of comfort. The material prioritizes performance over buttery softness. At this price point they deliver good value and earn a strong 4 stars from me. If they shaved a few bucks off or had a cuter/more stylish design tweak, they'd easily hit 5 star territory, but as is, they're a reliable pick for active use. Read more
These are a thin lightweight pair of shorts. They have great comfort and are good for a workout. They have a thick elastic band which stay in place quite well. There is no waistband ties, functional or not, which I would prefer as I think they're cute lol. The fabric is thin, but not in a cheap feeling way, more of a lightweight breathable way. It is that swishy kind of fabric, so if the shorts are loose on you, you might have to deal with some swishing. The shorts fit close on me, perhaps a bit tighter than they are designed to, but I like a close fit lol. There's no swishing with the fit like that though. The construction of the garment seems fine. There are a few loose threads on the stripes but those don't appear to be anything structural. All of the important stuff looks good though. Overall, I am happy it's a nice pair of shorts for a workout or casual wear. Read more
