I have only been wearing this for about two weeks or so. It doesn't have the strength to adequately hold your arm in place It tries to pull your arm up towards the neck and this kind of feels like it's trying to lift your arm up?I find myself constantly putting my arm down, time after time. It does give me a sense of stability and support. I can't get it on comfortably without help. Make sure that you get the correct size for you, if not, it will not fit comfortably. I found that if I put a tee shirt on first, it will slip on a little easier. The only real negative was the horrible oder it had at first. It smelled like auto tires. Strong enough to be smelled after the first machine wash. I actually had to wash it twice and still didn't get the smell out completely. I was a little nervous that the oder would linger in the washer. I washed it with some old rugs a couple of times just to be sure. No, I don't think that I would recommend it to a friend. It will do its job but I'm sure there's something else available that will work just as good without the oder that comes with this one. Read more
